We are working on this game for a while and now it's time to officially announce it here.

Hold you breath, it's....

A REMAKE OF "MANIAC MANSION"!

Okay, okay. "Do we need another one? We already have Maniac Mansion Deluxe", you might think.
We say YES!  Cool

Becasue we're doing it "Day of the Tentacle"-Style!

Of cause, it will be not just a simple remake. We're adding more puzzles, more dialoge, more animaition and more sound & music.
The backgrounds are almost done, but we could use some help with the animations:



If you want to join our team and if you can provide animations in a style like this...

The game will be made in German language and there will be at least an English version.

This is wonderful.  Maniac Mansion is one of my all-time favourite games.   Grin

I think a demo or a teaser will be ready somewhere in 2010. We can't say much about the final release date, cause we're working on it in our spare time.

By the way, the working title is "Maniac Mansion - EDvanced EDison"  Grin

AGS tutoring: It's been a while since I've worked on an AGS game but I claim to be pretty darn familiar with all its features.Web design: I'm in the process of building somewhat of a portfolio in web design. I'm skilled with HTML, CSS and PHP and know some basic JavaScript. Familiar with different CMS systems like Joomla and WebsiteBaker.

Damn, I really love the look of this game! I just replayed DOTT a while ago but I never actually got around to finishing Maniac Mansion. I'm sure this game will change that though. Cheesy

Spectacular! I really liked the open-ended playing style of Maniac Mansion. Very different from any other adventure I have played. An updated version is more than welcome - especially if it looks that good. Cheesy
