What is MAGS?
MAGS is a monthly competition based on the Adventure Game Studio by Chris Jones.

You have to create a game within a month following creative guidelines. The winner may choose the rules for the following month's competition in cooperation with the MAGS team.

Purpose of this competition
This competition works in many ways:
  1. To aid in the generation of more games within the AGS community
  2. To explore and demonstrate new ideas relating to AGS's capabilities
  3. To show how one idea can stretch across the multitude of different visions of AGS users
  4. To have fun
Guidelines
The guidelines change on a monthly basis and can range from the following for example:

- A certain number of inventory items in your game
- A certain graphic, object, line of dialogue or character
- A certain style of system, ...
