| | AGS Panel review for this game: | The AGS Review Panel has left a comment about this game: Though the writing sometimes veers into the distinctly flowery, this ode to loss is hugely impressive in execution. While the idea and design are solid on their own, it's the aesthetic aspects that hold the aces. High quality, semi-professional voice acting really brings the characters to life, and fine music evokes suitable moods. But it's in the wonderfully charming graphics that EU's world is fully realised. Colourful and expressive, the characters and backgrounds are wonderfully engaging, and draw the player into the experience. Recommended. | | User comments about Eternally Us: |

Posted by Socks on 2010-06-06 at 07:53 (IP logged): I was pleasantly surprised by the poetic dialogue in this game. The writing is just excellent, and I can't wait to see more from this developer. :)
Posted by PlayPretend on 2010-05-29 at 20:35 (IP logged): This game was just unbelievable. It's almost more of an interactive movie than a straight-out-adventure-puzzle-game, but the visual effects and backgrounds alone make it worth your time. I mean, *beautiful* stuff. And the voice acting, ye gods, I got chills, it was fantastic. The "Overall Enjoyment" rating is right, you have GOT to play this game right now.

How did you make those amazing leaves?
Posted by paolo on 2010-05-11 at 12:50 (IP logged): Wow. Just wow. The authors have excelled themselves. This looks simply beautiful and has a beautiful but sad story. It's a work of art.

Whilst light on puzzles it is thought provoking and fun with great attention to detail both visually and otherwise.
Posted by AndyfromVA on 2010-05-03 at 04:55 (IP logged): Beautiful graphics, thought provoking story, excellent voice acting make this a wonderful experience - I wouldn't call it a game though there are some neat puzzles. Ben304 games are jewels and this one shines brightly.
Posted by Xenogia on 2010-05-02 at 13:26 (IP logged): Overall an amazing effort from Ben304 and Calin.
Posted by AtelierGames on 2010-05-01 at 21:37 (IP logged): Excellently executed, clever message.
Posted by edmundito on 2010-05-01 at 20:32 (IP logged): I enjoyed it. It's a visually stunning game with very nice voice acting, music, and kind of a very clever story behind it all.
Some of the gameplay was not very engaging, and at times I felt that some parts could have been gameplay instead of just cut-scene. Some parts felt a little too emo for me, not that they were emotional, but more like forcing themselves to feel emotional, which is a totally different thing.
Overall, I recommend downloading it. It's one of the better crafted games AGS games I've played.
Posted by jkohen on 2010-05-01 at 15:27 (IP logged): A story beautifully told.
The music and graphics in this game are what we've come to expect from Ben's games. Soothing, magical. They help release your imagination, as you try to think what's beyond the edges of the screen.
As usual, the game is more puzzling than about the puzzles themselves, but this shouldn't surprise anybody who's played Ben's previous games.
In the end a great experience, even if the story is a bit of a downer.
