| | AGS Panel review for this game: | The AGS Review Panel has left a comment about this game: OROW games have a tendency to either shine or be unfinished, poorly designed joke games. Automation stands out as a polished play experience with pleasing graphics and interesting puzzles; this is more impressive when you realize that the game was made in only a week. | | User comments about Automation: |

Posted by Andy on 2009-01-25 at 13:01 (IP logged): I can't believe you made this game in only one week. Brilliant work! Really fun trying to move the robot towards its goal and trying to figure out what to do next. I also like how you can use your feet to solve puzzles, unusual.
Posted by Dharma_and_Greg#1fan on 2008-05-19 at 21:06 (IP logged): The interface, atmosphere and dialog were all very well done. It was solid for only being one room, and the length felt just right for what was being done in the game. My only complaint was that it was difficult to find the weak floor towards the end as I didn't see anything indicating its weakness. All around I enjoyed the time spent on it.
Posted by uvaagsfan on 2007-10-08 at 22:05 (IP logged): The puzzles made sense and the graphics were pretty cool in a retro sense, my only complaints would be concerning a couple really small hotspots you have to pixel hunt for.. maybe a larger cursor would help... I dunno.
Posted by Optimus on 2007-09-26 at 01:02 (IP logged): Kinda hard. Some nice ideas. It was ok.
Posted by desimaui on 2007-02-07 at 08:31 (IP logged): This is great artwork dude and I liked the puzzles
Posted by Mikko on 2006-12-17 at 23:53 (IP logged): Very enjoyable little game! Thank you.
Posted by Darkshine on 2006-08-24 at 13:43 (IP logged): A bit too easy, but it doesn't matter, this game is very good. Beautiful background, great music.
There's only one thing, I really dislike :
The noise of the robot's steps, quite annoying.
Posted by big brother on 2006-07-07 at 13:29 (IP logged): This is the first game I've ever played that IS it's own sequel! Great work.
Posted by Eugene on 2006-07-03 at 11:17 (IP logged): Great little game, especially since it was an OROW. The animations were very well done as well.
Posted by SonarKhemist on 2006-06-27 at 12:23 (IP logged): Very fun game! very short, but the level of detail was amazing and it reminded me a little bit of Flashback.
Posted by calacver on 2006-05-27 at 08:20 (IP logged): Brilliant game! Must make more ....
Posted by Tom on 2006-05-26 at 14:30 (IP logged): Nice game. What did you make the graphics for it in, they are quite good? I loved the fact that, as jkohen stated, the Player controls the robot indirectly, which was actually quite fun. Overall, this was a rather enjoyable game and I think you should make more like it.

Posted by Necro on 2006-05-18 at 18:14 (IP logged): I loved this little game, So much work put in to it even for a OROW game. The thing that stands out for me is the attention to detail in the simplest of things, that the average player will overlook.
Posted by Marion on 2006-05-12 at 06:57 (IP logged): Very, very great game ! I enjoyed it a lot ! The gameplay is nice, it's original, congratulations !
Posted by Peder Johnsen on 2006-03-08 at 09:14 (IP logged): This game is AWESOME!
I enjoyed this game ALOT!
Really GOOD work!
Posted by jkohen on 2006-03-01 at 21:15 (IP logged): Nice comment on modern society's reliance on technology, and also how unqualified personel are given tasks over their capacity.
Yeah, I'm making all that up, but the game is interesting in the way you control the robot indirectly.
Posted by buloght on 2006-02-28 at 18:25 (IP logged): A brilliant little game!
