How can I be stuck in a simple game? Dunno, but I am. I have the 3 obvious items and eaten the food. The only apparent thing is to climb the stairs but a guy keeps yelling at me to go back. Grrr. What am I missing?

Pretty good.. the interface was somewhat confusing for an ags game, though.
