But the gate to Wonderland is closed and you hear of a murder that happened there!
OK, this is my second game, hopefully with a more appealing story, but unfortunately with no better graphics and still no sound.

Posted by Jane on 2003-11-11 at 13:58 (IP logged): Enjoyed the plot and enjoyed solving some tough tasks, but got fed up waiting for Paula to walk anywhere as she was so slow. Music would have also been a welcome addition.
Posted by Ozwalled on 2003-11-09 at 08:21 (IP logged): Whew. An interesting idea, but a lack of logic behind a few of the tasks you had to complete was simply frustrating. That aside, I guess I hoped for a dreamier feel to a game taking place in such a whimsical land.
The story had some good points, mind you, and I applaud Straston for not just sticking with all of the typical Wonderland characters (some new ones were added).
Furthermore, I dare say that some appropriate music would have helped the game dramatically, as a whole lot of atmosphere could have been built up in the game (when you're dealing with Wonderland AND murder, afterall, I think that music would be a welcome addition to highlight the mix of wonder and of tension).
There does seem to be some good ideas at work here overall, though, and so I'd hope to see more from
Straston in the future.
