Player rating: 60% | Nathan Carter, a con man is on a routine job. He is attempting to blackmail a CEO and this is his last job before he retires. Victor Sammuels, his mark is hosting a dinner party tonight and Nathan sees this as an opportunity to search his house. However much more is going on than Nathan or even Victor has any idea about. Soon he will have to rely on your intelligence to guide him through the mansion and hopefully see him through the night. NOTE: If you are having trouble getting the music to play, open the volume settings for your computer in the lower right corner and make sure nothing is set to mute, I have found that this happens relatively often.

(None) | | AGS Panel review for this game: | The AGS Review Panel has left a comment about this game: Pleasingly quaint graphics and a good, if somewhat awkwardly told, story are the strong points of this author's first game. Minimal, lacklustre sound and music, along with a overall lack of technical polish, are it's shortcomings.
A good first effort. | | User comments about A Night To Remember: |
Posted by paoul on 2009-08-21 at 06:28 (IP logged): I really enjoyed it. There were a few bugs that spoilt the fun a little but nothing too crazy that made me dislike it. I hope to see more games like this.
Posted by Ethan Damschroder on 2009-08-18 at 19:44 (IP logged): I am in fact working on a sequel right now.
I am also working on getting a website which will give more info on the characters as well as some info. into the next game. Once the site is done I will add it in the game info on this page.
Posted by Ninja Kitty on 2009-08-15 at 23:04 (IP logged): Good game. The graphics were a bit simple but the story line and game play was great. I wonder, are you coming out with a sequel hopefully. I really would be interested in learning more about the characters. Thanks for the game. I really enjoyed it!

Use TAB to bring up the inventory plus the save/load/quit options...
Posted by bicilotti on 2009-08-02 at 19:56 (IP logged): Nice horror game which does its job. Graphics are simple but effective, dialogues well written. The GUI (especially the inventory one) is quite cumbersome.
But in adventures like those what counts are storyline & thrilling moments: I can assure you there are plenty of those in "a Night to Remember".
Posted by FlyingMandarine on 2009-07-25 at 23:44 (IP logged): It's a good first game, and just creating a game from A to Z is always a good thing. I didn't mind the graphics (although the rooms were really big and there wasn't much interaction), but I think the main focus you should have for your sequel would be to write more realistic dialogs. Other than that, congratulations for your first game!
Posted by Scarab on 2009-07-23 at 15:20 (IP logged): I enjoyed playing, but I would have preferred it if there was more background to set the scene, just something that can establish why Nathan is a good guy, even though he's a criminal. Perhaps we will see more of him in the future?
Posted by Scarab on 2009-07-23 at 15:09 (IP logged): Although relatively short, ANTR has a captivating storyline and good, enjoyable puzzles. The graphics were simple but worked well with the style, and the music succeded at creating an intense atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game.

It's a very nicely done old school adventure game with good but not to hard puzzle elements.
Definitely recommended for those who love the old school adventure games.
